Job Title: Regulatory Compliance & Health & Safety Training Specialist

Reports To: National Director of Operations

Location: Corporate Office

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for maintaining compliance, providing training, and auditing company locations of all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations. Responsibilities also include providing training, maintaining and developing Health & Safety programs and procedures.


  • Maintain compliance of all business practices related to all regulations under the scope of the FAA, DOT and TSA.
  • Provide Regulatory Compliance Training to employees as required by FAA/DOT & TSA and clients.
  • Provide Health and Safety training as required and as needed.
  • Maintain and track an annual recurrent training program for Regulatory Aviation and Health & Safety compliance.
  • Establish and maintain an effective regulatory compliance audit program.
  • Establish and maintain an effective Health & Safety audit program.
  • Establish and manage a continuous improvement program throughout the Company.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining Manager’s Operational Manual.
  • Comply with all regulatory and statutory requirements associated with assigned job activities.

  • Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office applications – PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.
  • Advanced proficiency MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, Validation Tables, etc.).
  • 5 to 10 years of Aviation Regulatory Compliance experience.
  • 5 to 10 years of Health and Safety Training experience.
  • 40 hour OSHA Certification a plus.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer service focus.
  • Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives, with minimal daily direction from manager.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
  • Ability to travel 30% – 40%.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Aviation Management.
  • Extensive and Practical knowledge of FAA, DOT and TSA regulations.
